Samsung to Launch Smartphones with MediaTek CPUs in 2014 Oct 4th 2013, 10:41, by Softpedia News (Ionut Arghire) South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly considering the launch of smartphones powered by MediaTek processor next year. A recent report from DigiTimes claims that CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, cited by Chinese-language Commercial Times, said in a recent report that MediaTek would start delivering quad- and eight-core CPUs to Samsung in the second half of 2014.
