Amazon has been long rumored to plan the launch of its own smartphone, and it seems that it might have just made another step towards that milestone.
The company reportedly purchased Evi, an application developed by True Knowledge Ltd, which works in a manner similar to Apple's Siri.
Offered for free, the software is available for download on both Android and iOS, and could be used by Amazon inside its upcoming device, rumor has it.
