Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system is gaining more users around the world, and has managed to grab no less than 5.6 percent market share in the United States in the three-month period ending April, up from only 3.8 percent a year ago.
However, Windows Phone is still far behind Android and iOS, which are currently occupying the first and second positions on the market, respectively, a recent report from Kantar shows.
