Owners of the LTE flavor of the Sony Xperia ion smartphone, model number LT28i, might soon get a taste of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, as the firmware update has already received the necessary approvals from PTCRB.
The software was certified as version 6.2.B.0.211, which clearly points at a Jelly Bean build being on its way to the device.
