Verizon launched the Samsung Galaxy Stellar back in August 2012 with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform onboard.
However, Samsung promised a Jelly Bean upgrade would be available for download at a later date. Then, several days ago Verizon announced it would start the rollout of the promised Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update on March 4.
