Today, Mountain View-based Internet giant Google made available for download a new flavor of its Google I/O application for devices running under the Android platform, in preparation for the official debut of the conference, set for May 15-17.
The new app release comes with support for scanning of attendee badges via NFC, synchronization of schedule changes between devices, and with a new lock screen widget for viewing one’s agenda on the go.
