After an Exynos chipset exploit was discovered a while ago, Samsung promised a software update will be pushed to all affected devices.
The Galaxy Note II is one of the affected models and as such, it is meant to receive a small security update that will address this exploit.
T-Mobile was among the first US-based carriers to update its Galaxy Note II model a few days ago and now it looks like Verizon Wireless is doing the same thing with its carrier-bounded phablet.
