Sold to the highest bidder, Nokia’s luxury brand Vertu has been acquired by EQT VI private equity group last year in June.
Former Nokia exec Anssi Vanjoki became CEO of the EQT-owned Vertu back in October and promised that the company would start producing Android handsets that will replace the old Symbian phones.
