Mozilla’s Firefox OS platform is nearing commercial availability around the world, and two handsets powered by it have just made an appearance over at the FCC, namely the ZTE Open and Alcatel OneTouch Fire.
ZTE’s smartphone was approved with WCDMA 850 / 1900 MHz connectivity inside, which makes it fit for the network of AT&T, although it might never arrive on shelves at the wireless carrier.
