Computer maker Hewlett-Packard is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a cheap 7-inch tablet PC that will arrive on shelves at Wal-Mart just in time for the back-to-school period.
The slate is expected to feature a price tag of $99 (€76), and is said to be manufactured by the China-based BYD with the aforementioned 7-inch touchscreen display and with a single-core Intel Medfield processor inside.
