South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is said to have managed to sell over 23 million Galaxy S4 units in the second quarter of the year, despite the fact that the handset did not meet initial expectations.
The info comes from research firm TrendForce, which has also unveiled the fact that the smartphone shipments went up 31.4 percent year-on-year in the three-month period, reaching 221 million units, DigiTimes reports.
