Samsung Stratosphere Down to $99.99 at Verizon, Also on BOGO

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has just cut the price tag for its Samsung Stratosphere LTE smartphone, making it available for purchase for only $99 with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The new mobile phone was launched on Big Red’s network in the fourth quarter of last year, and has already been included in a series of special promotions at the wireless carrier.


After being available as part of the carrier’s BOGO deal during the holiday season, the phone got its price cut from $149.99 down to only $99.99. You will also get one for free when purchasing another, Verizon notes on its website.


For this kind of money, users will receive an Android 2.3-powered device that packs a 4.0” Super AMOLED display and a sliding QWERTYkeyboard, along with a 1GHz application processor.

The specifications list of this device also includes 4GB of onboard memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space (a 4GB card pre-installed).


On the back, the mobile phone features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto-focus, flash and support for video recording. The handset also comes with 1.3MP front–facing camera for video calling.
