Moto X, the latest Android-based smartphone from Motorola, is reportedly set to receive a price cut in the fourth quarter of the year, one that would bring its price tag down to only $100 (€75) on contract.

At the moment, the smartphone is available for purchase at $199 (€150) with the signing of an agreement with AT&T or Verizon, yet it seems that Google and Motorola will drop its cost to increase sales.
